Job Responsibilities

  • Solution Design: Design end-to-end solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Architecture Development: Develop comprehensive architecture plans, including system, integration, and data architecture, leveraging Salesforce best practices and industry standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural designs and Salesforce capabilities.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions leveraging Salesforce products.
  • Customisation and Configuration: Oversee the customisation and configuration of Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) to optimise functionality for business processes.
  • Integration Management: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Prototyping and Proof of Concepts: Create prototypes and conduct proof of concepts to demonstrate proposed solutions and validate feasibility.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, data models, and deployment plans.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Training and Enablement: Provide guidance and training to Salesforce administrators and developers to enhance their skills and knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements to existing solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with Salesforce solutions, including performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and data integrity issues.
  • Project Management: Participate in project planning and estimation, providing technical insights and recommendations to ensure project success and delivery on time and within budget.

Skills & Experience

  • Salesforce Expertise: Extensive experience working with Salesforce platform products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, and others.
  • Architecture Design: Proven ability to design and implement complex Salesforce solutions, including system architecture, integration architecture, and data architecture.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in Salesforce customization (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components), configuration (Workflows, Process Builder, Validation Rules), and integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, ETL tools).
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry-specific challenges and best practices, and ability to tailor Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements in various sectors.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor development teams, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
